Adele
Ethel Zarick, 86 years, of Toledo, died Saturday,
November 8, 2003 in her home. Born January
25, 1917 in Grandville, IL, she was the daughter
of Thomas and Rosa (Sidah) Zraik. A lifelong
member of St. Elias Orthodox Church in Sylvania,
OH, she was a life member of the Ladies' Society.
She married Henry Zarick on February 28, 1936
in Bowling Green, OH and he preceded her in
death on Aug. 30, 1997. Ethel is survived
by her loving children, Rosemarie Zarick of
Cincinnati, OH, Edward (Karyl) Zarick of Toledo
and Susan (Dennis) Wroblewski of Toledo. Sister,
Laura Mickel of Toledo. 6 grandchildren, Kim,
Edward, Jr. , Beth, David, Kristin, and Matthew
and 4 great grandchildren, David, Edward,
III, Dustin and Christopher.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Alexander,
Julius, Edward, Raymond and Sam Zraik and
one sister, Edna Abdo.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday in
the J. Jeffrey Fretti Funeral Home, 5045 West
Sylvania Ave. (at Corey), Toledo, OH where
Trisagion services will be held at 8:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at
11:00 a.m. in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox
Christian Church in Sylvania with Rev. Father
Paul Albert, officiating. Interment will be
in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be
made to the church. Arrangements by the Michael
