Howard
P. Woodyard, age 92 years of Lambertville,
MI, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 in
Flower Hospital. Born July 26, 1915 in
Denton, Arkansas, he was the son of Homer
and Bertha (Field) Woodyard. A US Army
Air Force veteran of WWII, he married
Margarette Loose. She preceded him in
death. Howard was a carpenter for the
former Adam Loose Company in Toledo for
over 35 years, retiring in the late 1970's.
He was a member of the Second Church of
Christ, Scientist in Toledo . An avid
fisherman, Howard and his wife were avid
supporters of the Toledo Art Museum.
He
is survived by his Brothers, Noble (Lovetta)
Woodyard of Temperance, MI, Lester (Ruth)
Woodyard of Kentucky, Carrington (Darlene)
Woodyard of Powder Springs, GA, and Paul
Douglas Woodyard of Pensacola, Florida.
Sister in law, Luella Phillifant of Ottawa,
OH and many nieces and nephews. Howard
was preceded in death by 1 brother, Ferris
Woodyard and 1 sister, Betty Laureen Clegg.

W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd.
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Wednesday at 11:00
am. Interment will follow at Whiteford
Union Cemetery .
