Emma “Memaw” C. Withrow, age 79 years of Ottawa Lake, MI, formerly of Bedford Twp., MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, April 04, 2008 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek . Born Dec. 28, 1928 in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of Leonard and Martha (Killin) Valentine. Emma was an executive secretary for many years, retiring as the secretary of Berean Fellowship in Point Place in 1990. She was a member of Southgate Church of Toledo.

Surviving are her loving children, Toni (Ron) Babcock of Temperance, MI, Rev. Greg (Carol) Withrow of Sylvania, OH, Kelly (Darryl) Mohr of Toledo, OH and Dee (Ron) Speegle of Ottawa Lake, MI. 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-9 pm Monday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Southgate Church of Toledo, 1217 Prouty Ave., Toledo ,OH 43609, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Elder Ron Babcock, officiating. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek for the loving care given to Emma during her stay.
