Alonzo
“Bud” Whittaker, age 82 years, a lifelong
Bedford Twp., resident, died Sunday, July
8, 2007 in his home. Born July 18. 1924
in Bedford Township, MI, he was the son
of Roy L. and Evangeline (Johnson) Whittaker.
A 1942 graduate of the former Lambertville
High School, he married his high school
sweetheart, Donna Fletcher. Bud was employed
as a purchasing agent for the former Sharon
Manufacturing in Lambertville, MI for 27
years, retiring in 1987. He was an avid
Michigan Wolverine Football and NASCAR Fan
and also enjoyed woodcarving.
Surviving
are his loving wife of 62 years, Donna.
Children, Randy (Carol) Whittaker of Petersburg
, MI and Wendy Reinhard of Avon, OH. 3 grandchildren,
Tasha (Chris) Lawton, Troy Seren and Dominique
Reinhard. Bud was preceded in death by 2
brothers, Roy, Jr. and Willis Whittaker
and Sister, Nina Roe.
Visitation
and services will be private. Memorials
may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio
or The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
