Milton “Milt” L. Whitmill, 76 years of Lambertville, MI, died Monday, November 09, 2009 in The Toledo Hospital.  Born April 14, 1933 in Temperance, MI, he was the son of Orrin and Blanche (Teal) Whitmill, Sr.  He married Dorothy L. Buchelt on June 18, 1953 in Temperance, MI.  Milt was a 43 year member of the Sheet Metal Workers, Local 33 in Toledo, OH, where he worked for 25 years, retiring in 1991.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and making quilts for his family. 

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy.  Children, Bob (Cindy) Whitmill, Connie (Michael) Cornell, Rita (Robert) Zink and Kim (Steve) Puls.  Brothers, Kermit Whitmill, Orrin Whitmill, Jr. and Eugene (Lynn) Whitmill.  Sister, Luella (Herman) Heins, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Milt was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Virginia Whitmill, grandson, James Cutlip, brother, Glenn Whitmill and sister, Pauline Heck.  

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
