| Russell
L. Vandercook, age 73 years of Temperance,
MI, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in The
Toledo Hospital. Born Oct. 30, 1934 in Ida,
MI, he was the son of Gaylord and Hazel
(Miller) Vandercook. A US Army veteran of
the Korean War, Russell married Margaret
Hohman in Nov. of 1957. She preceded him
in death on July 17, 2004 . He was employed
for over 15 years for Hoover and Wells Flooring
in Toledo , retiring in the late 1990's.
He was a member of the VFW, #3925, Erie
Post and the American Legion, Post 193,
Luna Pier, MI.
He
is survived by his loving sons, Russell
(Linda) of St. Joseph, MI, Mark (Judy) of
Florence, KY, Daniel of Temperance, Ronald
of Temperance and Dennis (Pam) Vandercook
of Del Ray, Florida. Brothers, James (Pat)
of Monroe, MI, Donald of Temperance, MI,
Charles (Louvernia) of Monroe, MI, Raymond
of Toledo, OH, Larry of Monroe, MI, Marvin
of Monroe, MI and Eddie (Betty) Vandercook
of Newport, MI. Sister, Helen Hyden of Monroe,
MI. 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640
Smith Road (one mile North of Alexis), where
funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m.
