Idell R. Trapp, age 93 of Temperance, MI, a resident of Moongate Luxury Living since 2001, died Friday, December 10, 2010 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH. Born Jan. 25, 1917 in Samaria, MI, she was the daughter of Byron and Ina (Teall) Karr. A 1935 graduate of the former Temperance High School, she married Paul H. Trapp on November 12, 1936 in Toledo, OH. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1991. Together they farmed in the Temperance area for years until Paul went to work for The Andersons. Idell also worked for Fanny Farmer Candy and Wayside Restaurant. She was an active and lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Margene (Ron) Grisez, Patsy (Robert) Augustine and Bonnie (Joel) Beebe. 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1great great grandson. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.
A celebration of Idell’s life will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Pastor Joyce Freund, officiating.
