| Margaret
L. Tormoehlen, age 78 years of Adrian, MI
and formerly of Blissfield and Lambertville,
MI, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 in her
home. Born Sept. 16, 1928 in Seymour, IN,
she was the daughter of Louis and Anna (Tape)
Schepman. A 1946 graduate of Seymour High
School , she married Arthur Tormoehlen on
Feb. 12, 1950 . He preceded her in death
on May 16, 1986. Margaret was a member of
St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Temperance,
MI and she also enjoyed gardening, dried
flower arrangements and cooking.
She
is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey
(Karen) Tormoehlen of Temperance, MI, Jo
(Mark) Duplantis of Winter Springs, FL,
Douglas (Debra) Tormoehlen of Temperance,
MI, Stephen Tormoehlen of Tampa, FL, Cynthia
(Brian) Halverson of Oak Park, IL and Lori
(Ken Burzynski) Tormoehlen of Sand Creek,
MI. Brother, William (Gertrude) Schepman
of Seymour, IN, Sister, Norma (James) Mitchum
of Palestine, IN 14 grandchildren and 7
great grandchildren. She was also preceded
in death by a daughter, Margaret Tormoehlen,
Granddaughter, Megan Tormoehlen, Sister,
Lucille Reifeis and brothers, Robert and
Harry Schepman.
Visitation
will be held Monday from 2-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services
will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in St.
Luke's Lutheran Church in Temperance, where
she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment
will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield,
MI. Debra Davis, AIM of St. Luke's Lutheran
Church, officiating. Memorials may be made
to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or Hospice
of Lenawee.
