Arthur
“Art” E. Tolly, age 77 years of Temperance,
MI, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 in
his home. Born Jan. 8, 1931 in Temperance,
MI, he was the son of Earl and Reba (Salter)
Tolly. A 1948 graduate from Bedford High
School, he married Pauline Williams June
16, 1950 in Temperance, MI. Art was an Air
Force veteran of the Korean War. He was
a charter member of the Bedford Alliance
Church in Temperance, MI. Art was an electronics
teacher for Bedford High School for 16 years
and was owner/operator of the former Tolly-Moore,
Inc. in Temperance, MI. Art was also a self-employed
farmer all his life.
He
is survived by his wife, Pauline. Brothers,
Paul (Fern) Tolly of Sioux Falls, SD and
Neil (Jo) Tolly of Rogers City, MI. Art
was preceded in death by his parents and
sister, Marian Nunn.

may call from 3-7 pm Thursday, March 20,
2008 at the Bedford Alliance Church, 8645
Jackman Rd., Temperance, MI where memorial
services will follow at 7:00 pm. Reverend
Robert Hinz, pastor of the church, officiating.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest
Ohio or Bedford Alliance Church Building
Fund.
