David
M. Stuart, age 60 years of Temperance, MI
and formerly of Toledo, OH, died Thursday,
December 27, 2007 at Parkcliffe Community.
Born Dec. 15, 1947 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Max and Dortha (Spitler) Stuart.
David married Judy A. Schreiner on Sept.
4, 1971 in Toledo, OH. He was the president
of the Teamsters, Local 365 in Toledo for
over 10 years, retiring in 1991. David was
a member of Fairgreen Presbyterian Church,
where he had been active as an elder, deacon
and choir member prior to his illness.
Surviving
are his loving wife, Judy. Son, Joshua David
(Jamie Newman) Stuart of Toledo, OH . Brother,
Thomas (Cathy) Stuart of Temperance, MI,
sister, Sue Ellen Lonsway of Temperance,
MI and several nieces and nephews. He enjoyed
spending time with his family, watching
the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Ohio
State Football and eating lots of ice cream.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and infant son.
Visitation
will be held Sunday from 3-8 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Monday at 9:30 am. Rev. Pat
Lawrence Shafer, officiating. Interment
will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery,
Toledo, OH. The family would like to thank
the staff at Parkcliffe Community for the
loving care shown to David.
