Bruno
Strzelewicz, age 71 years of Petersburg,
MI, died Thursday, May 03, 2007 at the Hospice
of Northwest Ohio Inpatient, Toledo Center.
Born June 9, 1935 in Hamtramck , MI , he
was the son of Bruno A. and Genevieve (Cendrowski)
Strzelewicz. A US Army veteran, Bruno married
Dorothy G. Malik on June 24, 1961 in Detroit,
MI. He graduated from St. Joseph High School
in Detroit, MI in 1953. He then graduated
from the Detroit Institute of Technology
with a Bachelor's in Business Administration
in 1962. He was employed by Daimler Chrysler
for 25 years, retiring in 1987. Bruno then
consulted for General Dynamics, General
Motors and Ford. He was a member of St.
Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, where
he was active in the ushers club. He was
also a member of Knights of Columbus, Council
11430. Bruno loved cooking, story telling,
and spending time with his family.
Surviving
are his wife, Dorothy. Children, Bruno (Lisa)
Strzelewicz of West Bloomfield, MI, Michael
(Shelley) Strzelewicz of Temperance, MI,
Linda (Nick) Nagy of Milford, MI, James
(Katherine) Strzelewicz of Fortville, IN,
Marilyn (Ben) Never of Toledo, OH, Nancy
Strzelewicz of Petersburg, MI, Laura (Patrick)
Pylypuik of Sylvania, OH, Jennifer (Scott)
Peluso of Monclova, OH, Melissa (Alex) Valdez
of Temperance, MI, Mary Katherine (Banan)
AlKilani of Maumee, OH and Sarah Strzelewicz
of Petersburg, MI. Sister, Barbara Krause
of Fenton , MI and 22 grandchildren.
Visitation
will be held Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday
from 2-9 pm at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Rd., (at Jackman) Temperance,
MI, where scripture services will be held
Monday at 6:00 pm followed by the Rosary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday
at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church
where he will lie in state after 9:00 am.
Fr. Brian Hurley, officiating. Interment
will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials
may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio
or St. Anthony Church Education Endowment
Fund.
