Matilda
M. Stobinski, 88 years of Temperance, MI,
died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in Kingston
Care Center, Sylvania, OH. Born Aug. 6,
1916 in Toledo, Ohio , she was the daughter
of Stephen and Irma (Mauritz) Sotko. She
married Raymond Stobinski on Feb. 26, 1949
in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance.
He preceded her in death on March 17, 1975
. Matilda was a machine operator for The
Toledo Scale for 23 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, Bedford
Senior Center, and the U.A.W., Local #12.
She also loved bingo, traveling, bowling
& family. Matilda also sponsored
2 relatives from Hungary to come to the
United States.
Surviving
are her loving children, Frank (Mary Kay)
Stobinski of Lambertville, MI, Les (Cathy)
Stobinski of Erie, MI and Donna (Chuck)
Bridge of Lambertville, MI and 6 grandchildren
and 1 great grandson. Matilda was also preceded
in death by 2 sisters, Emma Mock and
Mary Nofziger and 2 brothers, Gaza and Stephen
Sotko.

Friday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Rd., Temperance, MI, where
scripture services will be held Friday at
7:30 pm . Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 10:15 am in the funeral home
with Mass of Christian Burial following
at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic
Church. Fr. Greg Deters, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery,
Erie , MI . Memorials may be made
to the charity of the donor's choice.
