Janet
Marie Stafford, 64 years of Ottawa Lake,
MI, died Friday, July 16, 2004 in her home.
Born Aug. 10, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan,
she was the daughter of Bruce and Bertha
(Jones) Edgerton. She married Charles E.
Stafford Sept. 19, 1959 in Detroit, MI.
She was employed by the former Manufacturers
Bank for 30 years. In 1989, she and her
husband, opened J & C Idle Ours Restaurant
in Bedford Twp., MI and operated it until
1997. She then worked in the Kitchen at
Summerfield Elementary School for 3 years.
Janet was also a member of the F.O.E. in
Lake City, MI and the Bedford Business Association.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles.
Children, Kimberly (Garry) Stolp of Petersburg,
MI, Bruce (Michele) Stafford of Temperance,
MI and Charles Stafford of Ottawa Lake,
MI. Mother Bertha Edgerton of Lambertville,
MI and 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole,
Marissa and Justin. She was preceded in
death by her father and sister, Esther Koppy.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday in
the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home
, 1640 Smith Road (one
mile North of Alexis Rd), where memorial
services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Ronald
Scheer, officiating. Memorials may be made
to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
