Spencer D. Snyder, 25 years of Toledo, formerly of Petersburg, MI, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Toledo Hospital.  Born Sept. 6, 1983 in Ft. Wayne, IN, he was the son of James and Mary (Behrendsen) Snyder. Spencer was a 2001 graduate of Summerfield High School.  He also enjoyed writing music and poetry, philosophy, books and loved animals, especially his cat, Kingston.  Spencer had been employed by Kroger on Manhattan Blvd., where he was produce manager. 

Surviving are his loving parents, James and Mary Snyder of Temperance, MI. Brother, Jeremy (Jessica) Snyder of Lambertville, MI. Grandmother, Mary H. Behrendsen of Angola, IN.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean Behrendsen, Bernard and Hilda Snyder. 

Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Friday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to Life Connection of Ohio or Monroe County Humane Society.
