Grace V. Smith age 87 years of Toledo died Friday, November 20, 2009 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH.  Born Feb. 8, 1922 in Lancaster, OH, she was the daughter of Albert and Louise Allen.  A 1940 graduate of Waite High School, she was head cook for the former Breefeater Restaurant in Toledo for several years and was also an achieved seamstress.  Grace was a Christian woman who loved to play Yahtzee and Uno especially with her grandchildren. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Sutton Post in Point Place.

Grace is survived by her loving sons, Ronald (Luann) Smith of Toledo, OH and Terry (Doris) Smith of Lebanon, OH. Brothers, Robert Allen of Grand Blac, MI and Ben (Marsha) Allen of Willows, CA. Sister, Connie (Ron) Bowman of Punta Gorda, FL. 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Son, Donald Smith, Daughter, Kathleen Chamberlain, Granddaughter, Lisa Smith, Sister, Pat Thompson and Brother, George Allen.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:30 am Tuesday in a chapel at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH, where funeral services will follow at 11:30 am.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or charity of the donor’s choice.  The family wishes to express a special thanks to Heartland of Perrysburg for the wonderful care given for 3 years and also Hospice of Northwest Ohio.   Arrangements by Michael W.
