“Steve” L. Sherman, age 54 years of Petersburg,
MI, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in The
Toledo Hospital, Toledo , OH . Born July
4, 1954 in Parson, WV, he was the son of
Oscar and LaVelle (Phillips) Sherman. He
married Mary K. Bivenour on April 27, 1985
in Hartville, OH. An account manager for
Mitchell International, Steve was also a
member of CrossRoads Community Church in
Ottawa Lake, MI.
Surviving
are his loving wife, Mary. Sons, Stephen Sherman, Jr. of Oakland, Maryland, John and
Scott Sherman, both of Petersburg, MI. Father,
Oscar Sherman of Parsons, WV. Brothers,
Phillip (Carolyn) Sherman of Horseshoe Run,
WV and David (Lorraine) Sherman of Garrettsville,
OH. Sister, Rebecca (Dennis) Bozik of Crimora,
Virginia.
Friends
may call from 4-9 pm Friday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road,
Temperance, MI, where funeral services will
be held Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Dean
Angel, Senior Pastor of CrossRoads Community
Church, officiating. Interment will follow
at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
