Grace
A. Schuster, age 87 years of Toledo, went
home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June
0, 2007 after a 3 year illness. She is now
free of pain and suffering. Born May 24,
1920 in Colerain Twp., OH, she was the daughter
of Henry and Lena M. (Todd) Raisch. She
married Clarence L. Schuster on Aug. 31,
1946 in Mt. Healthy, OH. Grace was reared
in a God fearing home where the greatest
emphasis was on Bible reading, prayer and
attending church. She was a stay at home
mom for her 3 children. In her spare time,
she enjoyed reading, doing crafts, working
jigsaw puzzles and planting a big garden
in the summer. She had a green thumb and
could grow anything. A devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, daughter, sister and friend,
she will be greatly missed by all who knew
and loved her. She was a member of the Eleanor
Kahle Senio Center and a faithful member
of the Liberty Baptist Church since 1970.
Surviving
are her loving and faithful husband of 60
years, Clarence. Sons, Clarence L. (Cherie)
Schuster of Jacksonville, FL, Larry (Debra)
Schuster of Hillard, OH and Debra (John)
Shoemaker of Toledo, OH. Sisters, Elizabeth
(Wesley) Duewel of Greenwood, IN, Rachel
Schuster of Independence, KS and Ruth (William)
Osborn of Cincinnati, OH. 8 grandchildren
and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her parents, 3 brothers and
3 sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and
6-9 pm at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance,
MI. Funeral services will be Wednesday at
12:00 Noon at Liberty Baptist Church , 5501
Jackman Rd. Toledo, OH, where she will lie
in state after 11:00 am . Pastor Rick Rust,
officiating. Interment will follow at Ottawa
Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH. Memorials
may be made to Liberty Baptist church, Hospice
of Northwest Ohio, or charity of the donor's
choice. Grace's
family wishes to gratefully thank all the
nursing staff at The Toledo Hospital, Flower
Hospital, and Lake Park for the loving and
compassionate care and especially to the
entire staff of Comfort Care unit at Lake
Park .
