Edyth Bolton Schirch, age 88 years of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 in Aspen Grove Assisted Living, Lambertville, MI. Born June 6, 1921 in VanWert, OH, she was the daughter of Harold and Cecile (Witten) Bolton. She married Benhart Schirch on January 26, 1980. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1991. Mrs. Schirch graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1954. She taught elementary vocal music at Custer Consolidated and Monroe Public Schools for 27 years. She was a member of NRTA and MEAR.
She is survived by her 3 brothers, Dale Bolton of Reading, PA, Dean Bolton of Temperance, MI and Harold Bolton of Toledo, OH. Also 5 nieces and 1 nephew.
There will be no visitation or services. Interment will be Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI. Memorials may be made to Erie West Hospice. Arrangements by Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, Temperance, MI.
