| Agnes
K. Schardt, age 85 years of Temperance,
MI, died Wednesday, July 04, 2007 in her
home. Born Nov. 3, 1921 in Cuyahoga Falls,
Ohio, she was the daughter of Rupert and
Mildred (Cook) Claus. A 1940 graduate of
Waite High School, she married Leo F. Schardt
on Aug. 23, 1941 in St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Erie, MI . He preceded her in
death Feb. 22, 1993. She was a member of
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in
Temperance and the Ladies Auxiliary of the
Knight of Columbus, Erie, MI.
Surviving
are her loving children, Thomas (Susan)
Schardt of Erie, MI, Annette Schardt of
Monroe, MI and Christina (Marvin) Ransey
of Perrysburg, OH. 11 grandchildren and
6 great grandchildren. Agnes was also preceded
in death by a daughter, Karon Schardt, son,
James Schardt and 2 brothers, Robert and
Charles Claus.
Visitation
will be held Friday from 3-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services
will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Our
Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where
she will lie in state after 9:00 am. Interment
will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie,
MI . Memorials may be made to Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
