Naomi
M. Rouse, 84 years, of Temperance, MI and
formerly of Ann Arbor, MI, died Thursday,
August 12, 2004 at Arbors of Clyde. Born
April 20, 1920 in Flint, Michigan, she was
the daughter of Jesse and Leola (Betts)
Moss. She married Rev. Francis I. Rouse
on March 21, 1938 in Covington, KY, he preceded
her in death on August 10, 1999. A member
of the Ann Arbor Church of the Nazarene,
Naomi retired from the University of Michigan
Hospitals in 1981.
Surviving are her daughter,
Yvonne (Rev. Merrill) Braymer of Temperance,
MI. 3 grandchildren, Bonita (Greg) Stepanian
of Oak Harbor, OH, Yvette (Dr. Louis) Saravolatz
of Gross Pointe Shores, MI and Melinda (John
C.) Rummel of Westerville, OH. 6 great grandchildren,
Sam, Louie, Stephanie, Jordan, Ashleigh,
and Izabella whom she loved dearly and 2
sisters and 4 brothers.
Friends may call
from 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the Michael W. Pawlak
Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman),
where funeral services will be held Sunday
at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Merrill Braymer and Rev.
Ronald Moss, officiating. Graveside services
will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Montrose
Cemetery, Montrose, MI. Memorials may be
made to Compassionate Ministries, c/o Pawlak
