Rose “Little
Monkey” L. Priest, age 81 years of
Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, August
05, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio,
Toledo, OH. Born November 3, 1926 in Toledo,
OH, she was the daughter of Walter and
Grace (Schumacher) Cupps. A 1944 graduate
of Scott High School, she was a pharmacy
technician for over 30 years for Health & Retiree
Center, Union Prescription and Rite Aid,
all in Toledo, OH.
Rose was preceded in
death by her parents and a very dear friend
of 33 years, Marie Lewandowski. Surviving
are her loving sons, William J (Tamara)
Priest of Lambertville, MI and James A.
(Cathy) Priest of Toledo, OH. 5 grandchildren,
Kim (Shane) Helms, Matthew Priest, Daniel
Priest, Chris Barraco, and Missy (Ryan)
Lawecki. Great grandson, Ethan Michael
Helms. Sister, Georgia Bell of Toledo,
OH. Brothers, Kenneth (Dorothy) Cupps and
Walter Cupps, Jr. both of Toledo, OH. Also
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rose
asked that after her passing a very special “thank
you” be given to Jean Burns of Mesa,
AZ for being such a great friend through
40+ years. The family also wishes to thank
Dr. Guntsch, MD and staff as well as Hospice
of Northwest Ohio for the special care
she received.
Friends may call from 2-8
pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance,
MI, where funeral services will be held
Friday at 10:00 am. Reverend Stephen Sparks,
officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo
Memorial Park.
