James “Jim” R. Pratt, 81 years of Toledo, OH, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in St. Luke’s Hospital.  Born April 7, 1928 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of Ray and Julia (Tankovitch) Pratt.  A US Navy veteran of WWII, he married Beatrice Schnaak on August 21, 1954 in Painesville, OH.  Jim was a bricklayer for over 35 years for several Toledo area builders, retiring in 1991. 

Surviving are his loving wife, Beatrice.  Children, Debi (Mike) Billau, Jim (Karen) Pratt, Leslie (David) Berg, Sheri Pratt, Mark Pratt, Kelly (Rick) Richardson, Robert Pratt, and Vicki Pratt.  Daughter-in-law, Linda Pratt.  19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm Sunday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
