Glenda
A. Pickard, age 67 years of Toledo, OH,
died Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Hospice
of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. Born, Nov.
18, 1940 in Stonega, Virginia, she was the
daughter of Howard and Lillian M. (Smith)
Humbert, Sr. Glenda was a food service manager
for Gladieux Food Service in Toledo for
25 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed
traveling and spending time with her family.
Surviving
are her children, Dawn (Roger) Brandon,
Shelly Stringer, Kenneth (Sue) Fields, Scott
(Jennie) Larsen and Dana Larsen. Sister,
Joye Walentowski. Special friend, Jess Jones
and best friend, Barb Dusseau. 15 grandchildren
and 9 great grandchildren and a host of
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her parents, daughter, Vickie Dowell
and brother, Howard Humbert, Jr.
Visitation
will be held Friday from 3-6 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial
service will follow at 6:00 pm.
