Theodore “Ted” J. Perry, 74 years of Toledo, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 in his home. Born, Jan. 11, 1931 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Ernest and Irene (Morrin) Perry. A US Marine veteran of the Korean War, he married Mary Ellen Kleinser on July 23, 1954. She preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 1985. He then married Rita Seger on June 21, 1986. She preceded him in death April 30, 2000. Ted was employed as a machine operator for GM Powertrain for 19 years, retiring in 1993. He was also a member of the UAW, Local 14 in Toledo.

He is survived by his loving children, Lynne Perry, Marcia Cole, Jeff (Robin) Perry, Annette (Larry) Pelton and Mark (Kelly) Perry. Brothers, William (Lois) Perry, Robert (Lois) Perry and Rudy (Carol) Perry and 11 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 2 Brothers, Harold and Dick Perry.

Friends may call from 3-9 pm Sunday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (one mile North of Alexis), where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Humane Society.
