| Alexander Pavlika, 83, of Venice, FL and formerly of Temperance, MI, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008. He was born on March 10, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. A US Marine Corp veteran of WWII, he married Bonnie Enders on Sept. 5, 1953. He was employed as an engineer for 25 years at Surface Combustion in Toledo, OH, retiring in 1987. He loved woodworking and enjoyed fixing bicycles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bonnie of Venice, FL; Son Wayne (Lori) Pavlika of Temperance, MI; Daughter Holly Gonchar of New York, NY and 7
grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, Oct. 24, 2008 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where memorial services will follow at 7:00 pm.
