| Jay
C. Paul, age 48 years of Temperance, MI,
died suddenly on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
Born May 13, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN, he
was the son of Curtis and Betty (Drob) Paul.
A US Army veteran and former reservist,
he married Sandra Hurt on Feb. 14, 1992
in Toledo, OH. He was a 1979 graduate from
Waite High School. Jay was employed as a
machinist for Lincoln Park Boring Mill in
Lincoln Park, MI for the past 7 years. He
previously worked for Ort Tool & Die
in Erie, MI. Jay enjoyed golf, softball
and spending time with his special grandchildren. Jay
was surrounded by a loving family and many
great friends, but the center of his world
revolved around his loving wife, Sandy and
his 2 very very special grandsons, Eryc
Kaliniak and Jimbo Edge. Others left to
cherish his memory include his children,
Ryan (Danni) Paul, Jennifer Edge and James
(Kandice) Edge, all of Toledo, OH. Sisters,
Linda Haley and Susan Moore, both of Toledo,
OH. He was preceded in death by his parents,
sister, Valerie Manuel, grandparents, John
and Zelpha Paul and John and Stella Drob. Friends
may call from 2-9 pm Sunday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Monday at 11:00 am. Interment,
