Dorothy
Nusbaum, age 80 years of Temperance, MI,
died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 in Hospice of
Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH. Born
June 28, 1927 in Temperance, MI, she was
the daughter of Vincent M. and Pauline M.
(Kasperczak) Brisky. A 1945 graduate of
the former Lambertville High School, she
married Joseph Nusbaum on Aug. 5, 1950 in
St. Anthony Catholic Church, which she was
a life member. Dorothy was employed by the
former Sharon Manufacturing in Lambertville,
MI, for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She
was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic
Church, St. Anthony's Seniors and the Bedford
Senior Center, all in Temperance. MI.
Surviving
are her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph.
Son William (Marie Adamski) Nusbaum of Mears,
MI. Sister, Theresa (Richard) Russell of
Luna Pier, MI. Grandchildren, Heather (Eric
Johnson) Nusbaum, Joseph Nusbaum and Stacey
(Michael) Mascarro. Great grandchildren,
Rowdy and Reese Mascarro. Dorothy was preceded
in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Harry,
Arthur, Bernard and Carl Brisky and 8 sisters,
Florence Rutter, Irene LaVoy, Gertrude Vokral,
Virginia Gregg, Elsie Dixon, Genevieve Curtis,
Grace Newman and Edith Koltoniak.
Visitation
will be held from 7-9 pm Thursday and 3-9
pm Friday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance,
MI, where scripture services will be held
Friday at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial
will be held Saturday at 10:30 am in Our
Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance,
MI, where she will lie in state after 9:30
am . Fr. Daniel Nusbaum, officiating. Interment
will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Temperance,
MI. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Church.
