Ernest
“Rip” Never, Jr. age 80 of Lambertville,
MI, died Wednesday July 9, 2008 at The Toledo
Hospital. Born Aug. 30, 1927 in Sylvania,
OH, he was the son of John E. and Hattie
E. (McIlrath) Never, Sr. A US Army veteran
of WWII, he married Sally Tipton in 1950.
She preceded him in death in 1981. Ernie
then married Patricia Pasko in July of 1988
at Toledo Covenant Church, where he was
a member. He was employed at Columbia Gas
of Ohio for 35 years, retiring in 1987.
Ernie loved gardening, fishing, bowling,
and playing cards. He was preceded in death
by his parents.
He
is survived by his loving wife of 20 years,
Patricia. Children, Donita (Tom) Davis,
David (Jean) Pasko, Roy (Debbie Quick) Pasko,
Rebecca Pasko, Paul (Debbie) Pasko. Sisters,
Joanne Combs, Eleanor Lewis, Gloria McCarthy,
and Dorothy Webber. Brothers, Ronald (Sally)
Nevers and Charles (Jan) Never, and many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation
will be Thursday from 3-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Friday at 11:00 am. Pastor
JR Fry, officiating. Entombment will follow
at Toledo Memorial Park . Memorials may
be made to Freedom Christian Center , 5132
