Jean
E. Ness, age 75 of Temperance, MI, died
Monday, November 19, 2007 at Hospice of
Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. Born February
14, 1932 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter
of Harry and Arla (Bibb) Hachman. A 1949
graduate of Bedford High School, she married
Lawrence Ness on January 22, 1955 in St.
Paul's Lutheran Church, Temperance, MI,
where she was also a member. She was a 1952
graduate of the former St. Luke's Hospital
School of Nursing. Jean was the owner &
operator of The Yeole Wood Box Gift Shop
for 10 years in the Secor Plaza in Lambertville,
MI, retiring in the early 1980's. Prior,
she was an RN for the Monroe County Health
Dept.
Surviving
is her loving husband of 52 years, Lawrence.
Children, Peggy (Peter) Reilly of Lambertville,
MI and David (Lisa) Ness of Maumee, OH.
Brother, Lewis Hachman of Lake Hasiau, AZ
and 7 grandchildren, Shannon Reilly of NY,
NY, Patrick Reilly of Toledo, OH, Michael
Reilly of Lambertville, MI, Sean Reilly
of Lambertville, MI, Nicholas (Mari) Ness
of Perrysburg, OH, Jim Ness of Temperance,
MI and Kaylyne Ness of Temperance, MI. She
was preceded in death by her Parents, Son,
Robert Ness, Granddaughter, Kathleen Reilly,
Sisters, Betty Hachman and Orlene Hubbard.
Visitation
will be from 5-8 pm Friday at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
(at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services
will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at St.
Paul 's Lutheran Church in Temperance, MI,
where she will lie in state after 1:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice
of Northwest Ohio.
