William
“Bill” Moore, Age 65 years of Temperance,
MI and formerly of Toledo , died Monday,
December 6, 2004 in The Toledo Hospital
after a long illness. Born July 18, 1939
in Toledo , OH , he was the son of George
and Prudance May (Budd) Moore . A US Army
veteran, he was a Central Catholic High
School Graduate. He was employed as a dispatcher
for the Toledo-Detroit Express for 14 years,
retiring in 1992. Prior, he was a longshoreman
for Toledo World Overseas Terminal for 20
years. Bill and his wife, Sharon, also owned
and operated the Memories On Lane Street
Antique Shop in Blissfield, MI from 1995-2000.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sharon.
Children, Robin Roberts and Randy (Nicole)
Moore, both of Toledo . Step-daughter, Holly
Greiner of Toledo. Brother, James Moore
of Lakeville, Minnesota . Sister, Sharon
Taylor of Dundee, MI and 7 grandchildren,
Stephanie, Christie, Andrew, Katelyn, Cassy,
Kimberly and Karissa He also leaves behind
his beloved pets, Prudance, Priscilla, Snuggles,
and Pud. He was preceded in death by his
parents and sister, Judy Moore.
Friends
may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday in the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Road (at Jackman) Temperance, where funeral
services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Whiteford Union
Cemetery. William Johnson, associate pastor
of First Baptist Church in Temperance, officiating.
