Thomas
“Tom” W. Monroe, 42 a lifelong Bedford
Twp. Resident he left this life for life
eternal
on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004 in Hospice
of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a brief
illness.
Born Sept. 14, 1962 in Toledo , OH
, he was the son of Thomas F. and Lois
(Lentz)
Monroe. A Bedford High School graduate,
he married Jennifer Bielak Aug. 12, 1991
at Mackinaw Island, MI. A loving husband,
father, son and brother, he had a profound
love for his family. Tom took special
pride in his business he formed 5 years
ago, which
was Monroe Tree Service. He had other
special talents as well, such as a skilled
carpenter
to an accomplished chef, working at
Mancy's and the former Willows and was
general manager
for Ryan's Steak House in Grand Rapids,
MI. Tom was also a graduate from Schoolcraft
College in law enforcement and had
been with the Monroe County Deputy Reserves
for
2 years. An avid outdoorsman, he had
many fond memories of hunting with his
brother
Mark and Father.
Tom
is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer.
Beloved daughters, Madison and Abby
Monroe, both at home. Mother, Lois
Monroe of Temperance. Father and Step-Mother,
Thomas F. and Sandy Monroe of Lambertville,
MI . Brothers, Douglas (Trish) Crew
of Greenville, S.C., Chris Monroe
of Lambertville, MI and “Big” Brother,
Mark (Marty) Monroe of Temperance,
MI. Sister, Eileen ( Douglas ) Pope
of Kennesaw, Georgia and Grandmother,
Mildred Monroe of Toledo., OH. He
was preceded in death by a sister,
Kathleen Crew.

where funeral
services will be held Saturday at 11:00
a.m. Rev. Gerald Hephner, pastor of
Abundant
Life Ministries in Temperance, & Rev.
Rodney K. Haselhuhn, pastor of St.
Paul
's Lutheran Church in Temperance, officiating.
Interment Whiteford Union Cemetery.

may be said that Tom's greatest moment
in life was at his death. He found
comfort and peace in knowing that his
life was now in the hands of the Lord. |
