Kathleen R. Mominee, age 86 years of Erie, MI, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 in The Toledo Hospital.  Born March 21, 1923 in Monroe, MI, she was the daughter of Prentice and Josephine (Mentel) Jacobs. She married Clayton Mominee on Jan. 15, 1944 in Erie, MI.  He died in Aug. of 1990.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI, where she was active in the Altar Society. 

She is survived by her loving son, Douglas of Erie, MI and Sister, Shirley (Adolph) Cousino of Toledo, OH and several loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Margaret Weaver, 2 brothers, Kenneth & James Jacobs.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Wednesday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
