Carolyn
J. (Snyder) Molchan, 70 years of Temperance,
MI, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in The
Toledo Hospital. Born Jan. 31, 1935 in Toledo,
she was the daughter of Gerald and Marie
(Ragel) Mayer. A 1952 graduate of Central
Catholic High School, she married William
Snyder in Feb. of 1955. He preceded her
in death on Aug. 9, 1984. She then married
Robert Molchan on Oct. 15, 1994. Carolyn
was employed by GM Powertrain for 10 years,
retiring in 1994. She also worked in food
service at the Bedford Junior High School
in the late 1970's and the early 1980's.
Carolyn was a member of Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance and
the U.A.W., Local 14 in Toledo. She enjoyed
spending time at her cottage on Wampler's
Lake, where she enjoyed viewing the sunset
from her swing.
Surviving
are her loving husband, Robert. Children,
Shelley (Dan) Ditty, Robert (Tracey) Snyder,
Michael (Tiffany) Snyder, Scott (Jenni)
Snyder, and Linda (Jeff) Hullibarger. Step
children, John (Shauna) Molchan, Robert
Molchan, Jr., Todd Molchan and Gloria Bihn.
Brother, Dr. James (Barbara) Mayer. Sister,
Joyce (George) Schomer, 17 grandchildren
and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends
may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-9
p.m. Friday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance,
where scripture services will be held Friday
at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will
be held Saturday at 10:00 am in Our Lady
of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where she
will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Fr. Thomas
Byrne, officiating. Interment will follow
at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials
may be made to the American Heart Association.
