James
“Jim” L. Miller, age 80 years of Temperance,
MI, died Monday, April 02, 2007 in his home.
Born Oct. 14, 1926 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Julius and Mabel (Barnes) Miller.
A WWII Navy veteran, he married Julia Lajiness
on April 15, 1987 in Toledo, OH. She preceded
him in death on June 12, 1998. Jim was a
route salesman for Taystee Bread for 32
years, retiring in 1987. He was an avid
fisherman and enjoyed camping.
Surviving
are his loving daughters, Marlene ( Norman
) Todd of Temperance, MI, Linda Navarre
of Toledo, OH, Kathleen (Gerald) Mack of
Indianapolis, IN, Christine (Karl) Miller
of Cleveland, OH, and Robin (Curtis) Lajiness
of Toledo, OH. Step-daughter, Deborah (Bud)
Mullins of Toledo, OH. Brother, Roy (Lois)
Miller of Toledo, OH, 10 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren.
Visitation
will be held Thursday from 2-9 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where
funeral services will be held Friday at
10:00 am. Pastor Anthony Edwards, III of
Northwest Baptist Church in Toledo , officiating.
Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial
Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Memorials may be made
to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
