Paul E. McClellan,
age 94 years of Toledo,
OH, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 in the
Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania Twp., OH.
Born July 13, 1913 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Morris E. and Frances (Enright)
McClellan. A 1930 graduate from the Old
St. John's Jesuit High School, Paul married
Cecilia Cousino on May 28, 1938 in Rosary
Cathedral, Toledo . He was an inspector
for Surface Combustion for 34 years, retiring
in 1975. Paul enjoyed golfing and was an
avid bowler for over 75 years, carrying
a 196 average and also had bowled a 300
game.
Surviving
are his loving wife, Cecilia. Children,
Susan (Ernest) Hertz Deutschman of Toledo,
OH and Michael (Sara) McClellan of Manitou
Beach, MI, 7 grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death
by 1 brother, F. Donald McClellan and 1
sister, Catherine Kasch.
Visitation
will be held Tuesday from 3-9 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where scripture
services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday
at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic
Church in Toledo, where he will lie in state
after 10:30 am. Interment will follow at
St. Joseph Cemetery , Erie , MI. Memorials
may be made to the Franciscan Care Center
