Evelyn
S. McAfee, Age 73 years of Temperance, MI
and formerly of Monroe, MI, passed away
Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in Hospice of Northwest
Ohio, Perrysburg. Born December 26, 1930
in LaSalle Twp., MI, she was the daughter
of Divines and Violet (Freimark) Howe. Evelyn
married James McAfee Sept. 16, 1950 in Monroe,
MI. She was employed by Pilkington North
America for 13 years, previously by General
Telephone Company in Temperance. She was
an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran
church in Temperance, and also of the Lambertville
Educational Club. She was preceded in death
by her husband, parents, step-father, Max
Gewinner and infant sister Linda.
Evelyn
is survived by her loving son, Timothy McAfee
of Temperance, Aunts, Magdalena Freimark
of Monroe, MI, Hilda Kemritz of Monroe,
MI and Mary Freimark of Sun City, AZ. In-laws,
Betty and Charles Daniels of Alma, MI and
Marilyn McAfee of Temperance, MI. She is
also survived by numerous loving cousins,
nieces and nephews.
Friends
may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-9
p.m. Friday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at
11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church
in Temperance, where she will lie in state
after 10:00 a.m. Dr. William Paul, Reverend
Kurt Peterson, Christ Lutheran Church in
Monroe, MI, officiating. Interment Roselawn
Memorial Park, LaSalle Twp., MI. Memorials
