Ruth E. (Nichols) Mason, age 94 of Blissfield, MI, died Monday, November 08, 2010 in Sylvania Care & Rehabilitation Center, Sylvania, OH. Born Nov. 4, 1916 in Mesick, MI, she was the daughter of John and Abbie (Dussell) Sayer. Ruth was the widow of Earl Nichols and Dale Mason. She was employed at various jobs, including Woolworths, Franklin Ice Cream and Starr Cleaners.
Surviving are her loving children, Paul (Barbara) Nichols of Metamora, OH and Earlynn “Lynn” (Steve) Morton of Westchester, OH. Step-children, Glen Mason, Carol (Jan) Luce, Jean (James) Kerentoff and Ruth (Bill) Sweet. Daughter-in-law, Geri Nichols. Son-in-law, Jerry Green. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great children. Ruth was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Howard, David and Quentin Nichols. 2 daughters, Sharon Jones and Vicki Green. Step-son, James Mason.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm. Pastor David Nichols, Ruth’s grandson will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice. |
