“Ted” C. Marquardt,
age 91 years of Toledo, OH, died Wednesday,
December 12, 2007 in Newberry , MI . Born
Jan. 31, 1916 in Oconto Falls, WI, he was
the son of Leo and Elizabeth (Meyer) Marquardt.
Ted married Edith Goff on Jan. 23, 1940.
She preceded him in death in 1982. He was
a machinist for 19 years for GM Powertrain
, retiring in 1971. Prior, he was a cook
on the Charles C. West, Great Lakes Freighters
and he had also worked for National Supply
Company. Ted also was an amateur radio operator,
call sign K8CGP.

is his loving children, Leon (Lois) Marquardt
of Toledo, OH, Jim (Katherine) Marquardt
of McMillan, MI, Carol (Marvin) Blue of
Toledo, OH, and Theodor (Charlene) Marquardt,
Jr. of Delta, OH. Brothers, Howard (Elaine)
Marquardt of Ocono Falls, WI, and William
Marquardt of Tucson, AZ. Sisters, Madge
(Joe) Hatinger of Green By, WI, Claire (Robert)
Lambert of Green Bay, WI and Natalie Burnette
of Green Bay, WI. 8 Grandchildren and 12
Great Grandchildren. He was also preceded
by 1 brother, Alfred Marquardt and Sister,
Betty.
