JoAnn
L. Manore, 74 years of Temperance, MI, died
Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005 in the boating accident
in New York, while on a senior trip. Born
April 23, 1931 in Toledo, OH,
she was the daughter of Clarence and Stella
(Lesher) Reed. A graduate from Whitney Vocational
High School in Toledo, she married Marvin
Manore on Oct. 8, 1950 in Toledo. He died
on Aug. 23, 1991. JoAnn was the secretary
for the Bedford Senior Center for the past
30 years, where she was also a member. She
was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran
Church in Temperance and also the Red Hat
Society. JoAnn loved to travel, spend time
at her condo in Florida and enjoyed being
with her grandchildren.
Surviving
are her loving children, Jodi Manore, Douglas
(Tina) Manore, Dale (Susan) Manore and Terri
(Daniel) O'Connor. Brother, John Reed, Sister,
Lois (Glenn) Reamsynder. 10 grandchildren
and 2 great granddaughters. JoAnn was also
preceded in death by her parents, and sister,
Helen Fuller.
Visitation
will be 5-9 pm Thursday and 2-9 pm Friday
in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640
Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral
services will be held Saturday at 10:00
am at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Dr. Rev.
Frank Paine, officiating. Interment will
follow in Bedford Memorial Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the Bedford Senior Center
or St. Luke's Lutheran Church
