Ruth
Lowe, 84 years of Toledo, and formerly of
Bedford Twp., died Monday, August 2, 2004
in Flower Hospital. Born September 6, 1919
in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of John
and Julia (Kasprzak) Walentowski. She married
Ellsworth (Skip) Lowe Jan. 31, 1942 in Samaria
, MI , he preceded her in death in 1986.
Ruth had been employed for 15 years in housekeeping
for St. Vincent Medical Center, retiring
in 1982. She was also a member of Hopewell
Wesleyan Church in Toledo and enjoyed making
crafts for friends and family.
She
is survived by her children, Vern (Pat)
Lowe
of Toledo, Marsha (Don) Drafts of St. Cloud,
FL and Julius Lowe of Toledo. Sister,
Wanda
Ferrell of Temperance, MI, Brothers, Joseph
(Dorothy) Walentowski, of Lambertville &
John (Helen) Walentowski of Temperance
and several grandchildren and great grandchildren
that she enjoyed. Special friends, Mary
Ann & Tom Root of Temperance. She
was also preceded in death by 6 brothers
and
6 sisters.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday
and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home , 1640 Smith
Road (one mile north of Alexis) Temperance,
MI, where funeral services will be held
Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Jerry Craig,
pastor of Hopewell Wesleyan Church will
officiate. Interment will follow in Lambertville
Cemetery. |
