Rosella E. (Peugeot) Leach, 93 of Temperance, MI and formerly of Louisville, KY, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 in her home.  Born Dec. 14, 1915 in Sidney, OH, she was the daughter of Ivan and Ruth (Taylor) Wynn.  She married Paul R. Peugeot on Dec. 14, 1933 in Toledo, OH.  He preceded her in death in on Dec. 10, 1956.  She then married Norman Leach on April 19, 1959 in Swanton, OH. Rosella was the Religious Education Director at Christ Methodist in Louisville, KY for 4 ½ years and prior at Collingwood United Methodist Church in Toledo, OH for 9 years. She had been active in several ministries at both churches, including prayer ministry, puppet ministry, youth group and bible study leader.  Rosella was past president of United Methodist Women at Christ Church and the Clear Creek Garden Club.  She was involved in the Emmaus Walk Ministry, a volunteer at Hospitality House, a member of International Friendship Force and also enjoyed traveling and entertaining.

Surviving are her loving husband, Norman.  Children,  Sheralyn (Paul) Smith of Temperance, MI, Charlene (Robert) Mathews of Palm Bay, FL, David (Ivy) Leach of Toledo, OH, Jan Hadley of Louisville, KY and James (Donna) Leach of Louisville, KY.  Brother, David (Linda) Wynn of Florida and Sister, Christine Hohenshell of Toledo, OH.  15 Grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, OH.  Pastor Dennis Lee, officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Christ United Methodist Church Prayer Ministry.  The family would like to express a thank you to those who have become family to us, Andrea, Cathy, Donna, Laura, Linda, and Roberta who lovingly cared for Rosella during the 4 years of her illness; also for the love support and encouragement of Jeanine S., Jeannine K., Jeff, Chaplin Lee, and the many others from Hospice of Northwest Ohio during the last 2 ½ years.
