Larry
“Bear” Lazette, age 53 years of Ottawa Lake,
MI, died peacefully surrounded by family
and friends Sunday, September 24, 2006 in
Flower Hospital . Born April 23, 1953 in
Toledo, OH, he was the son of Claire and
Marion (Anteau) Lazette. A 1971 graduate
of Bedford High School, Bear was a self-employed
carpenter for several years. He was also
a member of the Bedford Church of the Nazarene
in Lambertville, MI. Bear, an avid fisherman
and camper, was also a Michigan Wolverine
and Detroit Tiger Fan.
Surviving
are his brothers, Ronald DeCola and Robert
(Kelly) DeCola, both of Lambertville, MI.
Sisters, Linda (Stephen) Ingram of Drums,
PA and Darla (Deb Gasser) Fuleky of Lambertville,
MI and several nieces and nephews. Bear
was preceded in death by his parents, step-father,
Antonio DeCola and sister, Deborah Hudson.
Visitation
will be held Tuesday from 2-7:30 pm at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where services
will follow at 7:30 pm. Memorials may be
made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
