Louis
Lado, Age 73 of Temperance, died Saturday,
August 28, 2004 in Hospice of Northwest
Ohio in Toledo. Born Jan. 22, 1931 in Holland,
OH, he was the son of Louis Andrew and Velma
Susanne (Palady) Lado. A US Army veteran
during the Korean War and receiving the
purple heart and good conduct medal, he
married Janet Belding on August 28, 1953.
Louis was employed as plant superintendent
for the Dana Corporation in Toledo, retiring
in 1981. He then was employed for 20 years
at Automatic Handling in Erie, MI, retiring
in 2001. He was a mail carrier in the Bedford
Twp. Area during the 1960's. He was also
a licenced building contractor.
Surviving
are his loving wife of 51 years, Janet.
Son, Lennard (Joanne) Lado of Osseo, MI.
Daughters, Londy (Steve) Fielder of Temperance,
MI, Lori Lado of Erie, MI and Lisa Lado
of Erie, MI. Brother, Karl (Elva) Lado of
Satellite Beach, FL. Sisters, Rose (Joe)
Wikarski of Temperance, Louise (Roger) Brodale
of Ft. Worth, TX, Andrea (Jim) Rosenberger
of Hamilton, OH, and Jennie (Joe) Foderaro
of Cincinnati, OH. 5 grandchildren, Andy
(Jennifer) Fielder, Dan Fielder, Jason,
Justin and Jaymee Lado and great granddaughter,
Kelly Lynn Fielder. Louis was preceded in
death by his parents, 1 brother, Frank Lado
and 3 sisters, Emily Newton, Anne Godwin
and Maggie Gimple.
Friends
may call from 2-9 p.m. Sunday in the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road
(at Jackman), where funeral services will
be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will
follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials
may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio
or Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. |
