Mary
Ellen Korthuis, age 52 years of Lambertville,
MI, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in
her home. Born October 21, 1955 in Toledo,
OH, she was the daughter of Ronald and Elizabeth
(MacDonald) Black. She was a server for
Olive Garden in Toledo for the past 5 years
and was also a member of Lambertville United
Methodist Church.
Surviving
are her loving children, David Korthuis,
Erin Korthuis, both of Lambertville, MI
and Christine Korthuis of Columbia, Missouri.
Father, Ronald Black of Temperance, MI.
Sisters, Judith (David) Tunison of Topeka,
Kansas and Eileen (James) Smith of Macomb,
MI. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by
her mother and 1 brother, Wayne Black.
Visitation
will be held Sunday from 3-9 pm at the Michael
W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at
Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services
will be held Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend
Thomas Zimmerman, pastor of Lambertville
United Methodist Church, officiating. Memorials
may be made to the Lambertville United Methodist
Church or the American Diabetes Association.
