Larry J. Knaggs, 66 years of Toledo, and formerly of Ottawa Lake and Lambertville, MI, died Friday, July 30, 2004 in his home.  Born Jan. 14, 1938 in Ottawa Lake, Mi, he was the son of Ludy and Lucy (LaPointe) Knaggs.  The widower of Janice (Helmick) Knaggs, he had taught at Whiteford Elementary School in Ottawa Lake for 10 years. Larry received his Masters in Education, graduating from the University of Toledo and Eastern Michigan University.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Karen Uhl of Irmo, SC. Sisters, Mary Scheuer of Toledo, Anna LaVigne of Carleton, MI, Rose (Bernard) Brosamer of Adrian, MI, Letha Holup of Ottawa Lake, MI and Joan (Ed) Young of Toledo.  Brothers, Paul of Ottawa Lake, MI, Bob (Gerry) of Ottawa Lake, MI, Arnold (Genny) of Temperance, MI, Donald (Gloria) of Ottawa Lake, MI, Melvin (Mary Anne) of Temperance, MI, Roy (Faye) of Ottawa Lake, MI and Howard (Bonnie) Knaggs of Ottawa Lake, MI.

Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Monday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (one mile north of Alexis), Temperance, MI, where scripture services will be Monday at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
