| Lucille M. Kinney, age 89 years of Temperance, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Center. Born January 31, 1919 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Louis and Maude (Maybee) Degner. She married Nolan Kinney on June 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1984. She was a member of the Bedford Senior Center and a lifetime member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Toledo.
Surviving are her loving children, James (Terry) Kinney of Detour Village, MI, Roy (Barb) Kinney of Redlands, CA and Dennis (Sharon) Kinney of Schnecksville, PA. Brother, Richard (Betty) Degner of Grand Rapids, MI. Loving niece, Judy Nagucki of Temperance, MI and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Sue Kinney and brother, Paul Degner.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
