| Ann L. Kellermeyer, age 88 years of Toledo, OH, passed peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 after a brief and comforting stay at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Born Jan. 22, 1921 in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of Hercules C. and Pearl S. (Tipton) Capehart. Ann married Merrill H. Kellermeyer on July 19, 1947 in Toledo, OH. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1996. She was a founding employee of the former Hudson’s Department Store at Franklin Park Mall for 14 years, retiring in 1985. Prior she worked for The China Cupboard, The Flower Market and LaSalles, Downtown Toledo Store. She was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Toledo. Ann was a devoted volunteer for over 25 years at the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Ohio and Feed Your Neighbor.
Surviving are her loving children, Joann (Mick) Patton of Lambertville, MI and Robert Kellermeyer of Toledo, OH. 5 beloved granddaughters, Sheri Patton, Kamela Patton, Jennifer (Keith) Clancy, Jenell (Ryan) Patton and Nicki (Brian) Blattner and 5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Richard Capehart.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3274 Upton Ave., Toledo, OH, where she will lie in state after 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Ohio, Bethany Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Richard Paat, Dr. Timothy Duckett, and Dr. Patrick Schafer for their kindhearted care given to Ann. |
