Vicki L. Johnson, age 48 years of Ottawa Lake, MI, died peacefully Monday in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born Sept. 22, 1961 in Toledo, Oh, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Rosemary (Zientkiewicz) Lemke. A 1979 graduate of Start High School, she married Mark Johnson on Oct. 2, 1982 in Toledo, OH. She was a web page designer for Northwest State Community College for past 7 years. Prior she was part of human resources management for General Mills for 23 years, where she was also the United Way Representative. Vicki had attended Crossroads Community Church for the past 5 years. She had a strong passion for life, love, family and friends, but most of all her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband, Mark. Children, Jessica Johnson, Mark Johnson, II, and Chase Johnson, Grandchildren, Nevaeh and Mikey Narew. Mother, Rosemary Moore. Brothers, David Lemke, Jeff Lemke, Dan Flood, Eric Smith and Brian Smith. Sisters, Julie (Tim) Desmond, Lisa Raths, Denise Carr, Leslie (Tracy) Hammer and many more family and friends. Vicki was preceded in death by her father and sister, Andrea Smith.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday and 2-9 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Victory Center 5532 West Central Avenue
