Don
C. Johnson, age 76 years of Toledo, OH,
died Monday, August 27, 2007 in his Home.
Born March 4, 1931 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Harry and Violet (Beech) Johnson.
A US Army veteran of the Korean War, he
married Donna Wilhelm on May 28, 1959 in
Toledo , OH . She preceded him in death
on Dec. 5, 1993 . Don was a truck driver
for over 40 years, retiring from ANR Trucking
in 1993. He was a member of the Teamsters,
Local 20 in Toledo, OH. He was a giving
man, always willing to help others.
Surviving
are his loving children, Greg (Donna) Johnson
of Piqua, OH and Diane (Marc) Holmes of
Northwood, OH, 4 grandchildren and 7 great
grandchildren. He was also preceded in death
by a son, Randall Johnson, 2 brothers, Harry
and Bob Johnson and 2 sisters, Betty Viertlbeck
and Jane Bernard.
Visitation
will be held from 2-9 pm Thursday at the
Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith
Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral
services will be held Friday at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial
Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made
to the Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest
Ohio.
