Arnold
M. Jackson, 66 years of Temperance, MI and
formerly of South Toledo, died peacefully
on Thursday, November 10, 2005 in Hospice
of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Twp., OH.
Born Dec. 27, 1938 in Toledo, OH, he was
the son of Clarence and Clara (Fischer)
Jackson. He married Alice Ferrell on July
13, 1961 in Monroe, MI. Arnold was employed
as welder for Daimler Chrysler for 32 years,
retiring in 2001. He was a member of St.
Patrick Catholic Church of Heatherdowns
and a former active member of the St. James
Catholic Church in Toledo. Arnold was also
member of the U.A.W., Local 12 in Toledo.
He enjoyed yardwork, woodworking, restoring
his 1969 Firebird and spending time with
his beloved cat, Sheba. Surviving are his
loving wife, Alice. Sons, Anthony, Shannon
(Tami), Shawn (Laurie Hartsock) and Keith
(Heather) Jackson. Brother, Richard (Diane)
Jackson. Sisters, Joyce Manier, Beverly
(Bill) Armes. and 11 grandchildren. Arnold
was preceded in death by his parents, 4
brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Raymond and
Melvin Jackson and 1 sister, Barbara Bowers.
Friends may call from 7-9 Sunday and 2-9
pm Monday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral
Home, 1640 Smith Road (one mile North of
Alexis), where funeral services will be
held Tuesday at 9:00 am with Mass of Christian
Burial following at 10:00 am at St. Patrick
Catholic Church of Heatherdowns. Fr. Daniel
Fraser, associate pastor will officiate.
Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills
Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to
Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
